ALKALINE HOT VAT COMPOUND

Heavy-duty, alkaline powder removes rust from iron and steel surfaces in hot vat or tank applications. Also removes paint, primers, grease, grime and carbon. Foam level is controlled in an agitated system. Contains alkalies, emulsifiers, flash-rust inhibitors, and chelating agents to break up and suspend soils. Does not pit, em-brittle or otherwise adversely affect iron, steel, stainless steel, copper or magnesium metals. When used to clean stainless steel, performs the additional function of actually brightening the metal surface.
